My name is Jade Dineen, and I am currently a Product Design and Technology student at the University of Limerick, based here in Ireland. I’ve always been drawn to the process of turning ideas into tangible, functional designs, and that curiosity has grown into a strong passion for CAD and product development. For me, design is not just about aesthetics—it’s about precision, problem-solving, and creating innovative solutions that have real-world impact.
This platform serves as a space to document and share my journey as a designer. Here, you’ll find a collection of my projects, from early concepts to fully developed designs, each reflecting my growing skillset and attention to detail. I’m particularly interested in how thoughtful design and modern technology can come together to create products that are both practical and meaningful.
I grew up in Macroom, a small town in West Cork, where life felt a world away from the pace of a city. Moving to Limerick for college was a big adjustment at first, as I hadn’t spent much time in an urban environment before. It was challenging and, at times, overwhelming—but also exciting. Now in my second year, I’ve settled in and come to really appreciate the energy, opportunities, and creativity that Limerick offers.
As I continue my studies, I’m focused on developing my skills, exploring new design approaches, and building a body of work that reflects both my technical abilities and my personal style.
